ABOUT widowmaker
How we started
It's probably happened to all of us. We see the ads and we shell out 2000 dollars or more on a big name company's guitar. A signature edition cherry burst flame top model or a reissue of an original classic. For that kind of money a guitar should come off the wall and play itself but you get it home and realize it just wasn't what you thought it would be. An experience simillar to that was sorf the catalyst for Widowmaker. It just seemed that there had to be a better solution for guitar players.
Why Widowmaker?
Marketing is a powerful tool. The big name companies have the market share. There are a lot of their guitars out there. It easy to understand why so many of us feel that unless we are playing one of the popular brands we cannot be considered a serious musician. But the reality is that a good guitar can be purchased at a more reasonable price point. It's more about your hand, your technique and your ability than the tool itself. Perhaps a good guitar at a fair price makes sense?
“This is a top notch rig.”

“I'm absolutely thrilled with the guitar. I was a bit skeptical but after playing this thing I gladly handed over my cash. Unbelievable guitar and for the price, I should've bought two.”
- Luke Saltarelli
“I saw the WMRG with the natural flamed top and had to have it. It resonates better than any guitar I had, I bought two more. ”
